Got the 151 plow out

Postby jsfarmall » Sun Aug 12, 2018 7:39 am

My corn ground had a bush hog ran over it go shred stalks. Without any measurable rain in 67 days ground was hard as concrete. 193 plow did absolutely nothing. 151 plow cut into that hard ground and sliced through the stubble. And easy to pull as well. I have turf tires and no weights. Uploading a video to you tube as we speak. For softer ground I do prefer my 193 though. Couldn't keep the wheel from.sinking in the loose ground this spring. Hard ground, nothing better.

Waking up the ol' Cub

Nah, it's not leaking oil. It's just marking it's territory.

I even pulled it 1 pass in 2nd gear just to see if I could. No problem at all but I don't like working in 2nd so was short lived.

I used to run this in 2 ND gear when I was about 12 years old. No problem even in our ga red clay. I don't believe I could attach it now, makes my back ache just thinking about it.
