shift rod and fork removal without splitting the tractor?

Can the rod, fork or dedents be removed without splitting the tractor.
You can readily see them from the top but what else can be done from above?

Yes, but on the 154 you will be removing a lot of the sheet metal (seat, fenders, etc)

From above I shimmed my fork to shift rod. Mine was loose and worn.
