Wanted: Original Seat Post Bolts

Friend had a very early 47 Cub in it’s working clothes. That’s the way he shows it. Looked at it today and it’s got brand new shiny bolts holding seat post to the platform. I thought it would be nice to get him some bolts that match his tractor. Anyone got a couple laying around? Little rust and/or missing some paint required. Thanks

the tool box covers the bolts so you cannot see them

Correct, but he doesn’t have one. And the tab for the toolbox isn’t there. Thought this solution would be better as I’m not prepared to buy seat post and tool box. Thanks, Tim

And yes, I realize that tab can be added rather easily, but I don’t weld. Lol

no welding needed, just a piece of flat stock, drill 2 holes for the seat post bolts and bolt down the new metal and drill a hole in thee end for the tool box
