From Mr E's facebook page posted about 7:45 PM ET:
"Roy Edenfield - Very few trees left. Some roof damage to porch on big shop. More details come daylight. I can’t find the little green truck. It’s buried under tree branches."
Please keep Mr E in your prayers and it might just be time for a Deep South chainsaw party.

Posted this in OFF TOPIC as well:
Just got off the phone with Billy Ray and he reports everyone is OK down there ( Roy ,Tim, Raymond, Jim and Billy Ray) and Families. Billy Ray said "All the folks and Cubs are OK!" Said he couldn't say the same about the trees in the area, looks like a war zone, their all gone. They have generator power and TV . Said he'd let me know if their was anything they needed.

I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

We watched Weather Channel coverage of Michael, I was very concerned for the Deep South gang. Very relieved to hear that all are safe. That was a very mean storm!

Re: Hurricane Michael
I pray that everyone is okay and safe where Michael has already been, he's just now getting here and it's starting to rain. Winds are supposed to be 40-45 MPH here today, hope everyone stays safe! The only good thing is he's moving so fast unlike Florence who was like a drunk just staggering around and couldn't make her mind up which way she wanted to go

Re: Hurricane Michael
Michael got us a little. Power went out shortly after I got home, took me 32 minutes to get home because of trees down, I tried 3 different roads. It usually takes me 10 minutes and one road. Got home and noticed some extra foliage on the building. Hooked the generator up for several hours before power came back. Thanks be to God for that and for keeping us all safe. I cut the 2 trees off the fence, the one on the building I’m thinking about that one. Do I contact my insurance agent and let them handle it or what? Our sons trampoline didn’t fair to well either. Our daughter turns 3 Monday and we’re having a party for her here Saturday. Yard is full of sticks and mower is under tree in shed. Oh well.

Re: Hurricane Michael
I think I would contact insurance before cutting the tree off the building. I was impressed after Hurricane Matthew with everything they would help pay for, even though I didn't take them up on all of it. For instance, I lost three deer stands to trees, and they would help replace those. They may pay for a profession to come get that tree off, which is always the safest route to take.

Re: Hurricane Michael
Just talked with my insurance agent, we have $1K deductible and he said I'd be better off to cut it myself and not report it since the building isn't damaged much.

I'm glad to see you made it through without too much damage. I'll look forward to your upcoming thread on your logging adapter for a fast hitch Cub.

Re: Hurricane Michael
Got the tree off the building. The man I bought the ford from came by and picked up on the trunk with the forks while I cut on the roof. Went well. Minor damage and one hole. Not sure if it happened when tree fell or when I was cutting. Had to drag the stihl blower up as well.

Re: Hurricane Michael
Hi, Shane. That was damage but it could've been so much worse. That was a lot of tree and I saw that masonry wall. I bet that absorbed a lot of pressure as the limbs were breaking. Neat to see you got it off there, so quickly.
