I promised Bob McCarty that I would go by and inspect this place since our encounter with Hurricane Michael. Today i was able to do that.
They said they had no roof or water damage. The lady volunteered to show me some rooms. She showed me a King single and a room with two double beds. The rooms looked just fine.
This place has never been a 5-star motel. But it looked good and appeared to be clean and had no adverse odors as if the carpets had been wet.
So if you’d like to stay there it should work just as well as in the past. I can’t personally guarantee the motel, but it did look OK to me.

I just called to reserve a room and was told by the owner all rooms are booked until early March due to out of town contractors staying there. He said a room may come available now and then but fills again quickly with someone else coming to work. The owner recommended staying in Mariana.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Oh, bummer. I got excited with Mr E's post, and you totally dashed it! It has never been the greatest place, but it certainly was closer than Marianna. 
EDIT: I called a few minutes ago just in case, and sure enough, they are full. Put my name on a list..hope springs eternal!!

As far as I know, the Lake Seminole camp ground is closed, they took a lot of damage. We found campsites, nearby, at the Triple C campground.

FYI...I just called Lake Seminole Inn and managed to get a room. 
(Don't know if there are any more.) Before I cancel my room at the Comfort Inn in Marianna, wanted to check if anyone needs it. Maybe they have plenty of rooms, but if you have tried and they are full, you may have mine. I will wait until Sunday before I cancel the room, so let me know by then.
