Cultivator question

Postby yellercub » Sat Jan 12, 2019 8:19 pm

I just picked up a 144 spring tooth cultivator. What are the advantages or disadvantages of spring tooth compared to sweeps or shovels?

Hi,
Below is the Cub 144 Cultivator owner's manual, from 1965, if you don't have it.
It says on page 4, that the spring teeth are popular with potato growers. :)

Thanks, TST and Glen. Maybe I will have to plant some spuds to try them out. :D
