disk hillers

Postby yellercub » Fri May 17, 2019 12:24 pm

I am thinking I would like a set of disk hillers for my 144 cultivator. What dia./size do I want? I am looking at new manufacture not original. Any suggestions?
:thanx:

Should be a 13" disc. Be careful when mounting them as to not let the top of the shank hit the oil pan when the cultivator is raised. You may have to shorten the shank.

Thanks, I think had read somewhere about watching the length and the oil pan. I am seeing 12 and 14 inch, so what would you suggest? 1 inch over or 1 inch under the 13 inch dia.?

14” should be fine. A Cub won’t pull them that deep anyway plus it’ll give you some room for wear over the years.
