I happened into a Tractor Supply in Michigan over Christmas and they had all the toys at 40% off. I got an Ertl JD H for my friend and they had 3 late model Yellow/White Cubs. These are the 'long stripe'/white dogleg version that is the end of the full sized Cubs (different from mine). Pretty good value .
There seeems to be a lot of them on eBay now, so if you want a yeller Cub you can get a great deal on them. They are 2005 release and have a yellow box and a 60th anniversary sticker, which is different from the 'original' release in a gray and white box.
Guess I can qualify for a 'Still Plays with Tractors' shirt!

my 2 year old son loves his. He got a john deere from a friend of ours for Christmas but won't touch it. He sleeps with the Cub.
