News and stuff to share...

Postby itllbejohn » Sat Oct 06, 2007 8:50 pm

Man, I gotta check in more often. :) Those parade pictures from Stonethrow are great! :D and I'm glad John asked about the fuel shutoff. I've been shutting mine off after taking Ruby out, now I know it was the right thing to do. Anyway, I promised to report back on my experiment with Free All. This stuff works great, friends and neighbors! :D :D :D I turned a sparkplug that had soaked for about week, and it turned easily! I turned my attention to one of the loaders hydraulic fittings that was badly rusted and dry. I tried to turn it with a wrench and it wouldn't budge. I sprayed a little Free All and ten seconds later it started to move (with a little persuasion) They have a website which lists distributors

One last thing, check out my new shirt! Pretty cool, huh?

Good report on the freeall and a nice shirt John!

John:

That is what we like to hear.. good solid anecdotal data on products that work. Now.. how does it compare to Kroil, PB Blaster or Solvo-Rust??

Nice shirt too :big smile:.. especially for those who collect all of the Letter Series. It would be niceer for that "C" or whatever the trike is.. turned into a Cub.. :big afro:

[quote="itllbejohn"] They have a website which lists distributors

I looked around on the site listed and found they have the copper and nickle anti-sieze compounds that have been discussed in other threads.

I would have to assume they would be pretty good too.

The copper based lubricant would replace Kopr-Shield for electrical connections. Great to keep corrosion out of grounds to the frame and on battery posts.

I just ordered some of the copper based anti-sieze from Gasiola in addition to some of their other products. I'll report back after using it.
