Safety is an important and often overlooked topic. Make safety a part of your everyday life and let others know how much you care by making their lives safer too. Let the next generation of tractor enthusiasts benefit from your experience, and maybe save a life or appendages.

Just a reminder to everyone, after big storms and lots of wind make sure you look up when around trees. Big storm came through the other night and saw some blowdowns. Went to look around a bit to see if there were anymore close to the path and easy to get to. While looking I notice a new "brush pile." Turns out brush pile was a root ball. It was a new blow down. Big tree partial blow down into another big tree (a.k.a. widow maker). No buildings are threatened, just other trees. Hopefully the rain will stop so the woods will dry up some so I can get so buddies to help with it.
Mods. feel free to move if you see fit. I figured with all the bad weather everyone has been having lately this would be the place it would be seen the most.
Caution, When somebody tells you to get a grip, apparently around their neck is not what they ment. Common sense isn't so common 4 cubs ( 1 lowboy) JD A

Bonehead: This is definitely a good point to bring up, especially as we are now entering hurricane season. Folks really need to be careful after storms when cleaning up or even just negotiating they way from place to place. A shadow is still in the main forum, so the vast majority will see the link to this thread. Thanks for posting the reminder.
