Postby John *.?-!.* cub owner » Mon Nov 08, 2010 12:28 am

Anyone know what this axle bracket on H rear axle is for? I have seen a few of them, but never knew the use.

That is always what I had assumed, but our cultivators had their own brackets as part of the depth assembly.

Check your HM-221 Cultivator Instruction Manual. It wouldn't have taken four years for me to figure it out if it was right side up and mounted on the correct side. :D

Thanks Jeff, I knew I had seen it before, used to have one on Dad's H. You are smarter than I thought. Now if I could just remember whose tractor that is, all would be well.

Not 100% positive whose tractor but I think that's semi truck rear tires in the background and that mossy brakedrum with the wire on the end of the brake spring sure looks familiar. If so, I'm thinking that's Dad's H in Flash's driveway before I switched the loader to it.
