Cub Weight

Postby thiggy » Sun Oct 16, 2011 7:39 am

What is the approximate weight of a Cub without wheel weights (for trailering purposes)? Thanks :?:

Bare bones with no implements, hydraulics or weights is around 1400 - 1500 pounds.
It is common sense to take a method and try it. If it fails, admit it frankly and try another. But above all, try something.

Thanks. I'm also trying to figure out if my 5x8 utility trailer is going to be sufficient to carry the cub. I need to call the company that built it and find out its capacity.

Look around on the trailer. There may be a tag somewhere giving that information.

Mine doesn't have a tag. It is made by a very small local company. It's all 2x2 tubing with a 5/4 wood deck and large trailer tirest so that's all probably plenty strong but the axle is probably the deciding factor.
