Name that item! Can you ID these things? First up is a two disc plow I was told went with the Cub with the odd dash. I didn't believe it til I saw a manual somewhere for one so I went and took a pic of it... Cub? I'll be posting more pics on this thread since I figured out how to upload from my iPhone!

Re: Name that item! From what I can see, looks like a Cub 151 plow.

Re: Name that item! This is a Cub-12D harrow plow. Basically the same as a Cub-151 but with two discs.
Not many around, scoop it up if you can!! ![]()
Re: Name that item!Item #2 to identify... Came with some super A and C stuff I bought.

Re: Name that item!If you are able to get the cash together to get the tractor, study the parts manuals for the implements so that you can get all the parts required. The 12-D plow has brackets that mount to the finals, a steering rod that runs all the way up to the front wheel and a bracket on the spindle for the rod. Also a rod that is necessary to raise and lower the plow by connecting to the front Rockshaft. These items are often missing or lost.
Re: Name that item! Not too familiar with a lot of the stuff, but those 2 bolts look a little like the stay bolts for holding the sickle in the vertical position.
If you are seriously trying to sell the A, I suggest listing it in the for sale section rather than here. "The Constitution is not an instrument for the government
to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government lest it come to dominate our lives and interests." Patrick Henry
Re: Name that item!It was kidding folks... I'm not trying to sell the A nor am I planning a bank robbery. I've got too much in it to sell it for that. I'm afraid I'm just stuck with that tractor because I can't let myself sell it for less than I put in it and I don't see anyone paying what I'd need for it. it is cool though because it has a 45' B motor.

Re: Name that item!Strange I just asked a simple question on this post and it was removed? I just was wondering what he was talking about???
In fact other responses seemed to have been removed, I'm kind of confused and wondering what is up with the censorship, I just asked a simple question to clarify what he was saying??? Last edited by CapeCodCubs on Thu Feb 23, 2012 10:41 am, edited 1 time in total.

Re: Name that item!Capecodcubs, it could have been misunderstood that I was attempted to sell/draw attention to the sale of something in the improper place. from the preceding bank robbing statement and "haha" after I thought I made it clear I was kidding but others could argue that I was attempting to attract buyers. I am not an apparently there's no place for kidding around when it comes to selling or not really selling items on here. To keep from messing up te site with junk, they have to keep those rules strict.
Jim Becker, you are the man... I've seen that diagram and never would have guessed. the picture doesn't show it's most identifiable feature well... That curvy nut/handle.
Re: Name that item!Item #3. this could go on forever... This stuff is older than me and I don't know what most of it is. hopefully someone else will learn a little too. I have like 100 of these that we're never used. wanting to build a harrow to prep seedbeds with.

Re: Name that item!
I've seen 2 variations of what I think are essentially the same nut. Some have the loop, like yours. Others just have an extended lug on one side, something hammerable. I think the illustration is trying to represent the second style. But I believe they are used in the same place.
Re: Name that item! The prong was once part of a weeded/mulcher similar to this one. The photo also explains why you have so many!

Re: Name that item!I thought that too... But these mount differently if you look close. there never was a cub on this farm either.
