Its OfficalAs you all know Steve Butram took the job of Deputy Chief of the Lafayette FD. Steve had told me when the swearing in was going to be I thought I'm going to support him as a friend & brother FF. It was a very nice ceremony with the council chambers full with family members, freinds, & on duty firefighters. I did have several people ask who I knew I said Steve then they said how you know Steve I said tractors they said you mean those cubs I said yes then they would smile. Present as well were Steve's parents, & his in laws. Congrats Steve you will do a Great job.
Lady pinning Steve's Badge is the lady that got Steve involed in the fire service where he lives. Along with his family. Yes I had my uniform on as well. Last edited by Jeff Silvey on Thu Mar 08, 2012 4:20 pm, edited 2 times in total.

I don't believe in taking the bull by the horns. I took a goat by the horns once and that was enough excitement for me.
