what have yawl found to be the best abrasive that does not get clogged up in a blast cabinet?
I am having problems with mine getting clogged and I have a water trap on it too . using black diamond right now

Re: sand blaster getting stopped upCecil just complained to me, about his blaster. Seems the humidity is too much for the water traps to handle. Cecil uses the black grit, from Tractor Supply. Don't know if some other grit would be better. Ed

Re: sand blaster getting stopped upI use black beauty, and have tried various water traps that still allowed enough moisture through to routinely plug the nozzle. I switched to a dessicant dryer that I got from McMaster-Carr (see below link)
http://www.mcmaster.com/#desiccant-air-dryers/=ie9lfw I have the one with the zinc body and polycarbonate bowl, and it works great. The nice thing about these dryers is the desiccant can be removed and dried in an oven and used again. I've had mine for about a year and have only removed the desiccant and dried it once.
