I got home from the hospital a short time ago. What an ordeal! Went to the emergency room around midnight on Monday July 30th with a kidney stone attack. Except for one night, I have been in the hospital ever since. Even though I have a history of throwing stones, this is the first one in about 20 years. And as you heard, my mom passed away while I was there. Was not able to make the funeral. One of the problems was lack of a BM. I went for over a week without one, due to the vast amounts of drugs that were given me during the stay.
Thanks for all of your words of encouragement during this stressful time.

Ron,
So glad that you are home. Healing is always better at home. I'm sorry that your mom passed while you were in the hospital.

glad you are home and recovering. I have only had a kidney stone problem one time, but it was pretty rough.
