Air compressor head torque

I'll be replacing the head gasket, on a sears air compressor 919-184190. Pump # D 22624. This is one of the supposed to be 7 peak hp, that operates on 15 amps, 230V. The owners manual says to see your repair service, for head gasket issues. Its aluminum, so I don't want to break anything, from over torque. Thanks, Ed

I googled service manual for sears craftsman air compressor model 919-184190 repair, only thing I could find was parts lists and the owner's manual. No service manuals at all. Typical Sears. I have been looking for a service manual for my old Sears Ride-On and haven't found anything yet.

Gasket arrived, today. I replaced it, and torque it to 35 f/p. Aluminum head and block, so I didn't want to push my luck. Ed
