Be on the lookout for someone trying to sell these.
Share it Pedal Tractors Stolen
Gerald Gebhard, 88 and Sue, 80, have been robbed twice in two weeks.
Two weeks ago burglars broke into their garage and removed 3 pedal tractors from their collection. The Gebhard collect and show things, it’s a hobby that makes life fun, and interesting in their golden years.
Yesterday, during the night hours, someone broke into their garage again, and removed 15 more pedal tractors, the reminder of the collection valued at approx. $25,000 according to Mr. Gebhard.
If you have any information on this event, please call the Boscobel (Wi) Police Dept. at 608-375-4122.
Update - The descriptions of the tractors are as follows: 1, McCormick 560 (red), 1, McCormick Farmall 400 IH (all original with faded red paint), 1, Case 1070 (white & red), 1, Allis Chalmers (red), 2, John Deere (green & Yellow), 1, White (gray & white), 1, Kubota (orange), 1, Ford BN (red & gray), 1, Ford 8000 (blue), 1, Oliver 1755 (green), 1, Oliver 70 (green), 1, Farmall M (red), 2, Massey Ferguson (red & gray), 1, Massey Ferguson 44 (red & gray), 1, Massey Ferguson 35 (red & gray), and 1, New Holland Nuffield (blue)
The sad part is these tractors have probably already been sold for scrap.
"HAVE ALL YOUR DELIVERIES MADE BY UNION DRIVERS"
Possibly, but this seems to have been target specifically at these tractors, so i suspect they had a sale for them lined up.

They would be very wise to notify the Toy Farmer (host of the National Farm Toy Show). Their show is November 2-3-4 in Dyersville, IA. I would bet $$$ those tractors get "fenced" there...... Dyersville is only an hour from Boscobel.
Cub Cadets....Engineered for people who know better!
I hope Mr Gebhard had insurance that would cover his loss, and it would good if he had an identifying mark on them somewhere that might help in recovering them. I sure hope so.
It's a shame that someone would cause this kind of stress in their lives at their age.
Not much lower than stealing from old folks.
Check and watch your local Craigs list, local sell & buy news paper and ebay for the crooks trying to sell them.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.
