Hello
Can anyone assist please?
I am wiring up my 1956 Cub and I am not sure what goes where and where to on the light switch?
I have headlamps (single filament bulbs) and one rear work lamp with a switch on
The switch came from TM Tractor Parts - its 3 position - Off/position 1/position 2
What was each of the working positions for originally do you know?
My switch is as per attached photograph
p.s - all 6 volts and positive earth system
Cheers
Ian

Re: Cub 6 Volts Light Switch Wiring
i do it with an ohmmeter. check for continuity between the Batt terminal and the others while you go from one position to the next. basically, the first position will turn on the headlights, and the second will turn on both the headlights and the taillight. there is a wirewound resister there that was used to go to a dim setting on the lights.... use it if you like, but i don't see the point
