We purchased a Super M yesterday, I understand Super M's were manufactured in Louisville KY (6 digit serial numbers) and another location that had 5 digit serial numbers, Where were these Super M's made?
I don't know where they were made but I liked the only one I ever drove. Even if you lugged the engine down it didn't give up and would recover. The only problem was wheel spin. They need more tire than what they came on. 12-38's I think. Vern

Most were made at the Farmall Plant in Rock Island, IL. The had such high demand that some were assembled in Louisville in 1953-54. Louisville assembled Super Ms had a L in front of the serial number.
Let us pray for farmers and all who prepare the soil for planting, that the seeds they sow may lead to a bountiful harvest. "It ain't a !@*% A. It's a SUPER A!"
