Took the blade over to get painted and decided to drill and tap a 5/16-18 hole in the bottom of the shaft. I may make a heavy washer and put a bolt in it instead of reusing this clip. We’ll see.

Made a new cutting edge from a piece of 5/16”x 2 1/2” instead of the standard 3/16” thick IH put on. Seems flimsy to me being that thin. Also countersunk the holes so I can put flat head bolts and have a smooth edge instead of carriage bolts with a raised head. Carried it to be painted black.

Made three 5/16” stainless square head bolts so I wouldn’t have to order some.
