140 with Woods mower

I have a 1972 IH 140 with a woods mower (has 3 blades) I think its a woods 59 , I would like to order new blades & a new belt. any body have part numbers? Thanks Dave F.

Hi Dave, Maybe you could post a couple pics so we could help ID your mower. If it is a Woods 59 new blades and a belt should be pretty easy to find. There are Woods dealers that could help figure out which one you have too.
There is a link to a Woods pdf file on this site that may help through the quick links above, it's for a L59 mower (among others) but not shown specifically for a 140.

I think a 140 would have used a Woods 59A deck. If that is what you have than the numbers I came up with are..
6950KT for blades
3652 for belt

There are no numbers or decaling on the deck. I know its a Woods mower I had one on a cub Like it. I'll try to get some pictures but I am not very good about posting them. Dave F.

E.A. Nelson in Florence, AL is a Woods dealer too. They should be able to send you the parts to your door with no problem. At the minimum, you could call them to get a price to compare to the other place.
