Wiki Authors Needed!

We need YOU to volunteer to help build the #1 Cub Wiki on the internet? You've gained a great deal of knowledge from the members of FarmallCub.Com, now it is time to give back to the community that helped you, right? We need volunteers to help build this Wiki (Encyclopedia) of collected knowledge for future generations.

Is it difficult? No. Minimal computer skills required – if you can type a message in the forums, then you can write a wiki article. Content is more important than appearance – we have help that can make it “pretty”

Why a Wiki? Forums are great communications tools, however, they can be poor knowledge receptacles. Difficult to find the exact information you need since it is often scattered about in multiple messages and threads. Kind of like a puzzle that you have to put together to get the needed information.

The wiki is a knowledge database with links to other sections that explain items more in-depth. For an example, check this story My Wonderful Cub's and note the links embedded to the “mother” of all wiki's: Wikipedia.

It is not necessary to rewrite all information when it is already available; this allows the author to direct the reader to information without them having to search for it.
