Had a great time at the Barnyard Bash in Ohio this past weekend! Just bought my 1949 Cub back in March, joined up on the forum shortly after, and Bill messaged me inviting me to his Barnyard Bash in June. So glad I made it there! Met a lot of great knowledgeable people, got a lot done on my tractor, and learned a ton from everyone there. The food was excellent, the bonfire was huge, and I was able to get some issues resolved on my tractor. I've never been to such an interactive event before where you not only hang out and talk, but actually work on stuff too. Lots of fun!
Here's some photos that my Dad and I took over the weekend...

Although I didn’t visit with you much, I was glad you came down. Now that you see what Cubfests are all about, you may want to become a regular.

Re: Barnyard Bash
My Dad and I had an awesome time! I love working on stuff, but some things I just don't have much experience with, so it was nice to have people there to help point me in the right direction. Several people just stepped in and helped out with removing the tire, driving out the stuck woodruff key in my axle, helping out with spare parts as some of my original parts turned out to not be reusable, etc.
Next time I might try to come Thursday and stay a couple nights. I definitely plan on attending more in the future!

It's addictive, but in a good way. I look forward to these events every year.
