I have 8 tractors total. 4 which are cubs and I have a 123
Cub Cadet along with a Farmall 300 LP, Super M, and a Super C that My cousin and I Restored. I mainly helped. All cubs are the Stainless emblem series. 1-1954, 1-1955, and 2-1956. All run great and are in great shape except I need some new tires for newest addition.

A majority of my tractors belong to my grandfather which he bought new when he had his IH dealer back in the 40's and 50's. A few of them he sold and I have since bout them back. My goal is to collect all tractors that grandpa once farmed with. My next purchace is a 1954 SMTA LP Gas as soon as I find it. It is somewhere in central Illinois. The man he sold it to has since died so who knows, it could be scrap.

Back to the running or not or in parts. We only have a few in JP's collection that are complete and running, all are different years and options, but if you count over the years we have salvaged over 300+, many of you probably have some of those parts on your running onew

Only have one, a 53. I've always wanted to have something, a tractor, car, truck...from the year I was born, so maybe some day, I will buy a 58 Cub.

See now, Dad's got you all fooled. It's not that he owns a lot of cubs, he just knows where they all are! His actual cub count pales by comparison with some of the others on this board. I know because, as any good investor, I track my inheritance very closely. As of right now, pop's at 5 cubs (3 working, 2 non), 2 cadets, and an H. Not to mention the golf cart (hey, it says IH on it) and that green thing Mom mows the yard with.

I call them my ineritance, though I probably won't see any of them. The boy's got dibs on the cadet and the oldest cub. My wife has claimed the lo-boy and mom the '76. That leaves me with the two that don't run. Suppose I should get cracking and help dad get at least one of them running.

For now, I'll just have to be happy with my little cub cadet (yes, I know it's not a real tractor, but it IS self-propelled and it is the biggest thing I can get turned around in my yard!)

I have 2 (actually 1.5, half owner of the yeller one). Which is a good number because I can only work on one at a time and I can only run one at a time.

That could change as the 50 gets closer to going in to 'production'.

MMMM now that I think of it, why am I always looking for em? I should have been warned about the addictive powers of the CUB.

Well, I have 3.

Granny is my 1947 and 3rd acquistion.
Ellie-Mae is my 1948 and my 1st acquisition
Jethro is my 1951 and was my 2nd acquisition, but he many never actually run anywhere. Current plans are to restore him as a Back-up Generator for my house.... sure will be a purty genny..

I have been thinking for a while that it would be nice ifn I had a 54 -- make figuring out it's age easier.. considering I was born in 54... and I really would like to have a yaller Cub someday, and of course a Lo-Boy might be nice.

A Cub-Cadet - say an original would be nice to have, although the new green thing does a pretty good job mowing the lawn, but that is ALL it is good for.... anything else, well that is Cub terrirtory.

I figure, the best thing for the inheritance part is to have 5 Cubs... one for each of our children and # 6 for Em...

Yeah, that would be about right.
