Hello
Removed the thick paint from the throttle control, some of the teeth are gone, some paper thin, bolt hole elongated, just totally worn out,
the lever has a deep groove at the bottom end and seems to be a homemade lever.
Looking on line at the new throttle assemblies, which would be the best assembly to buy? Trying to avoid off shore import.

Re: Throttle Control Assembly
It looks like TM is out of the levers. Steiner has the whole quadrant and lever assembly.

I'm less than thrilled with the one I got from Steiner. It tends to pop back from high idle. I'm planning to look for a tougher spring for it.

Re: Throttle Control Assembly
I got mine from Steiner and had a similar problem, it wouldn't stay in the last tooth on high idle. I put more washers in to compress the spring for more tension. It worked, but I didn't like the increased lever tension resulting hard lever movement.
The best fix was to use a diamond wheel on a Dremel and cut the angle back on that last tooth so that the lever fits better in the tooth groove.

Re: Throttle Control Assembly
the teeth on the quadrant from steiner are cut at the wrong angle, they do not work, you can buy the quadrant from IH that works
