I had the woods mower on my Loboy....It came with the tractor. It had a home made mule drive that was crude, but worked well.
Now I want to put the mower on the regular cub and I am pretty sure the deck will adapt and I bought a real mule drive. However....would the drive belt will be longer...am I correct?

Re: Woods Mower
I believe you are correct, although you should have some front to rear adjustablility with the deck and you may be able to reduce the difference by adjusting it as far rearward as it will go. I recommend mounting it and routing a non-stretchy rope through pulleys to get an exact length.

Re: Woods Mower
Hi,
Below is the Woods 59 C2 owner's manual. They are used on the regular Cub, there may be other models too. It has lots of info. The belt is listed on page 9, it is Woods number 4152.
Pages 11 and 12 show the belt installation.

Pages 15 and 16 are for the manual height adjustment lever for them, you don't need it with Touch Control.

Re: Woods Mower
Do you have the push arms for the regular cub?---lo-boy uses different style arms.--- at least mine does. When I put regular "for cub" 59 on the lo-boy, I had to use the lo-boy arms, mower itself fits but arms dont.

Re: Woods Mower
when you say the arms don't fit do you mean too short? or mount too low?

The Woods deck attaches to the finals differently on a regular Cub vs. a LoBoy since the finals are rotated 90 degrees.

FWIW - A picture of exactly what you have will help determine what you may still need. If you have all the right pieces (the down struts would be key) for your deck and the F Cub then you will need the standard the standard original size belt.

Re: Woods Mower
Just bought a new belt for my 59c2 on my cub, it's listed as a w180. I believe 180" is the length.
4152 is the woods part number, l went through Alderman's in Lennon, Mi.

Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over.
