Added toolbox
Added a "custom deluxe" toolbox today lol.... Was going to put an original on it, but wanted something to keep tools dry... Had an old m-60 ammo can laying around.... Coupled rubber washers and used bolt that holds the floor pan down

Re: Added toolbox
Thanks!... Actually glad I posted those pics, didn't realize I was missing the nut on the rockshaft bracket ... Had it off couple months ago... Seems I forgot to put lock washers back on

Re: Added toolbox
Cool. May have to steal that idea for my non fast hitch cub. I have a tool box on my fast hitch cub that’s mounted on a fertilizer hopper assembly with the gear assembly taken off. Works good

I think it should work ok. Lid doesn't go completely up, hits the seat, but opens enough to get any tool out of it.

Re: Added toolbox
Hi,
The Cub looks good in your pics.
I think the bracket on the rear rockshaft was used for the Cub 189 Plow. I don't know if you have the plow.
Below is a pic from TM Tractor.

Re: Added toolbox
Yep ... Have most of the plow setup except for the left side plow (working on it). It's a very handy little bracket for other little stuff... Oh and thank you for the compliment on the cub

Re: Added toolbox
Make sure you drill holes to vent. I made that mistake before. I put a fat 50 for a toolbox on my super m and had some cheap tools and good chain rust up well after pulling a few logs in the rain.

Re: Added toolbox
The ammo boxes are airtight and watertight. So if the tools are dry they will stay dry.
