Thanks! Didn’t take as much as I thought it would to get it going and glad it runs good and doesn’t smoke. Never know buying something from someone who bought it at an auction and knows nothing about it.

Got permission to bring it to work and it’s supposed to start raining in the morning at 3:00. Decided to bring it tonight. First time checking clutch and brakes, they both work great! No grinding when putting in gear and trans is quiet.

The battery box was shot on the bottom but the rest was good. Trying to keep cost down so decided to fix it.

So glad it runs good. Sounds purdy.

Good job on the battery box repair. Make me want to bend some metal and get out the welder...

Your boss is going to start wondering whether he's running a machine shop or tractor repair facility. :D

I need to replace the rear main seal and I’m using the fine front wedges Rick Prentice graciously made me. He and I talked about getting them in or not getting them in if the tractor wasn’t level. My solution, I jacked the tractor front end up enough to get the pressure off and bolted them together and there you have it, this weeks simple wedge tip of the day.

The catch is that two halves of the tractor won't be listing equal amounts when you are ready to couple it back up.
