Update
I got everything back on the cub,
thanks to TM, and tst, and everyone that had given me advice.
I also used lurker carl rock shaft repair, in the how to section.
Now the cub runs like it was meant to run.
It purrs like a kitten, I can't wait to put it to work in the field,

I loaded up the manure spreader, used the cub to spread it in the pasture, the cub ran like a champ, never lost speed at all, and it
ran great and sounded good,
I can't wait to get it out and start working the fields.

I would time the Battery Ignition unit using a timing light, if you didn't already.

I did time it with a light, it is right on
