Continental Belton KA-5 mower
Bought this puzzle Continental Belton KA-5 mower from a guy a few weeks ago and decided to put it back together. Probably put it on the 1975 Cub I’m picking up soon. Cleaned the bearings and got new seals.

Re: Continental Belton KA-5 mower
Is that a finish mower or a brush hog type like a Kub Klipper?

I’m not 100% sure what it falls under. It has swinging blades like a bush hog but they are only about 8-10” long. There’s 4 blades on two spindles.

Thanks Tim. I can get one through A&I for $41.39 plus shipping, it’s not Gates though. It’ll serve what I’m going to do with it.

Shane I suggest you try the guys I made a post about. made in USA Bestorq belts, I bought two of the 20 footers for my woods L306 on the 140 for less than one belt anywhere else.

mowed all summer last season, 1st belt is still doing the job!

you find what you needed? I found them to be good people to deal with, their price could not even be approached anywhere else.

Re: Continental Belton KA-5 mower
I needed a belt. did a search for woods L306 on a 140. I was pleased to have the Vbelt guys come up. I lost a bolt for the lift chain and wrapped it around the center spindle the same day I installed the new belt. I assumed it would be toast so I went in the house and ordered another belt immediately. The 1st belt wasnt harmed enough to hurt it and I am still using it. At the price point I dont mind having a fresh belt hanging in the shop!
looking forward to seeing this mower all painted up and functional. I find it to be an interesting design.

Re: Continental Belton KA-5 mower
Got this mower mounted today and the C246 belt is way too long. Ordered a C154.

Just hang that one on the wall, Shane! That's what I do with all the wrong belts I end up with. Just sure the will be handy one day, but they seldom are!
