Update on the 1947 revival from Cecil's

I thought I would post an update on the salvaged 1947 Cub, serial number 4465, that I had at Cecil's 2019 NE Fest. The trip home deposited a lot of rust back in the fuel line, which I cleared with air and magnets: that fix can't last too long, I know.
But after the gang got it running so well, I wanted folks to know that the group effort was not in vain. Since then I've done the following:
Freed up the PTO Clutch and managed to get the PTO back together and working.
Rewired with a harness from Brillman.
Mounted the teardrop headlamps and a flat back rear light.
I also enlarged and tapped the implement bolt hole that had looked so unusable for the C22, and then put in this insert from McMaster Carr:

Next I'll try to get the C22 working on it, see how that insert holds up, and update again, when there's something to mow in upstate New York.
Happy New Year all

Sounds like the fuel tank could use a good cleaning.

Hows the screen in the gas valve? I’d add a inline fuel filter too above the carb
if your dealing with all the rust.

Glad it’s coming along. Any chance it will be back for us to see?
