My parts finally showed up. I honed and cleaned up the bores, installed the rings, and slid the piston/rod assy's back in the holes.

be wary of a couple things in that gasket set, the oil pump gasket should be only .003 thick, that may have one that is to thick and cause it to have no or little oil pressure, the rear main seal probably will be to loose in the retainer

Thanks for the heads up. I won't be going in that deep right now, just the new rings and rod bearings. The engine had good oil pressure just low compression from the stuck rings.

I haven't forgot about this, just other things have taken priority. Now that the weather is turning cold and wet I will be able to start working on some inside projects, I had some IH 2150 red mixed up for the Farmall A wheel center so I decided to spray the pan for the cub power unit while it was removed.
