I was wondering why you needed it, then figured you might need new bushings. I decided to provide the link to TM Tractors who happen to carry it, and when I clicked on it I almost had a heart attack when I saw the price?! So maybe you are searching for an alternate source?!!

You are correct. Think I found some but wanted to confirm before I tear into it.

That link should come with a warning before it opens! I'm not faulting TM though, I know it's supply and demand and what they have to pay plus a little profit to keep their doors open. But OUCH! I guess that clunking front end isn't as annoying as I thought it was after all.

TM appears to be one of the lease expensive when searching the internet by the part number.

Being really cheap, I would micrometer the shaft, the tube ID, and bushing length. Internet search for that size bushing and bushing material.

Not really that bad of price given the type material it's made of and the fact that it is IH and not chimna crap! ---At least you know it has a good chance of fitting and wont mess up something else.
Substitute is fine, BUT how much time and money are you going to waste trying to make something to go in there, PLUS the headache of it all, then find out your invention just messed up the whole part.
Not my front end but I would get what is made for it. good luck on your project!

I have tried https://www.bronzebushings.com/, which a number of members have suggested, for the steering box. While they were great bushing I had a lot of fit problems. The next time I will buy the oem parts and not have to do a lot of work to get them to fit.

It is just how you want to spend your time and money.
