Dad bought the Lo Boy in 87 to replace the Cub with the Mott.It has been with the L59 Woods since new. It is slow but would not trade it for the world. Gas,oil, occasional points and plugs,a front seal and front tires every 30 years whats not to like. Doubtful a new ride would in the long run be as cost efficient as this one has turned out to be.

My int154 loboy with the 3260/60” mower deck made quick work of cutting two acres. The wider mower deck goes under my fruit trees. My cub cadet with the 42”/48” mower isn’t too far behind. I like the comfort on the 154 the only thing it’s missing is a cup holder.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

I really enjoy mowing with my cub, and it does just as good of a job as any modern machine.

I never liked the rough ride of a zero turn, but while mowing around some augers last week on a Zero turn that I frequently run, my arm slipped off the drive lever and I ended up smashing my leg into the auger. I've been limping ever since. No protection on the zero turn machines!
