Deposit color very good, so not oil in the cylinder or bad gas.

Cause, plugs not changed in many years.
I have an excuse. CRS.

So far, Paul and Ringo have arrived. John and George were supposed to follow ages ago, but apparently have gone awol. Long story.

Once in a blue moon might not be so bad. Once per Halley’s Comet, however...

Hi,
Below is a page from the 1955 Cub operator's manual, it says clean the spark plugs, and check the gaps, every 200 - 300 hours of use.

http://farmallcub.com/rudi_cub/www.clea ... e%2037.jpg

It doesn't really say when to replace them.
You can replace them when they look bad, or are fouled, if you don't want to clean them.
Cubs that burn oil probably need the spark plugs serviced more often than the manual says. :)
