1948 Decals
I’m looking for new decals for my Cub. I’m having trouble figuring out exactly what set I need for my 48. Will the set off a 47 work without the circle cub??

Re: 1948 Decals
According to TM Tractor the hood decal changed when the circle cub went away July 28, 1947. When IH dropped the circle cub they moved "cub" to the McCormic Deering Farmall hood decal. The late '47 kit is good for 1948.

Got it!! Sometimes there is just too much info on the web and it’s hard to tell what you really need.
Thanks!!

Re: 1948 Decals
My '48 was manufactured in early '48 (Mar or Apr) and it's original decals were.
McCormic Deering
Farmall Cub
Of course there was an IH symbol in front of that. I've seen them available on line, but l also see a lot of "restored" cubs sporting decals that say McCormic without Deering.

Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over.

I did not know that. Anybody have an idea at what point it changed over?

Re: 1948 Decals
Hood decal from July 28, 1947 until September 12, 1949(1) read "McCORMICK - DEERING FARMALL CUB". There was no decal on the radiator grille side.
