My cub has a straight pipe right now. I’m leaning towards replacing the manifold and vertical pipe. And possibly getting a muffler as well.
I’m seeing 3 different types. I was hoping you guys could tell me what the difference is.
I have found:
1. http://www.farmallcubforever.com/product/351436R92
2. http://www.tmtractor.com/new/ae/583fp.htm
Steiner has a stainless one.
3. http://www.steinertractor.com/IHS1936-S ... el-Muffler
What’s your opinion on a stainless muffler?

#3 is stainless steel. I don't see any difference between #1 and #2.

Big difference in price. That’s what confuses me.

Re: Muffler type?
# 1 says it is OEM. #2 is an aftermarket repro, hence the lower price. Either one would work.

Re: Muffler type?
I would choose the TM Tractor parts muffler.

Re: Muffler type?
If you're looking for function over fashion, go for the lower price at TM. Even if the quality isn't as high as the #1, you can get 3 at that price difference.
Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over.
