Planter Plate info
My search hasn’t turned up anything on a 1453A plate. Guy says he can get some and they are 1453A he says. No pic. Thanks if y’all have any info

You got a lead on something there. That plate has 12 cells for check planting, It has 11/16 round holes. The planter it fits is the No. 8 horse drawn planter (2 row), built from 1918 to 1931. If you are looking for a plate that works in the Richmond hoppers, this isn't it. It is probably a smaller diameter. I think the first that fits the Richmond hopper was used in the 100-series planters, which came along in 1925.
