Torque tube implement mounting boss

Postby SamsFarm » Wed Jan 20, 2021 9:43 pm

I been messing with cubs for about 17 or 18 years now...

Have yet to run across anything that bolts to the left front boss on the torque tube.....

But I have not saw every implement made for the cub like some here has! :)

Does anyone know of something that does?

Also, the Howard Despeeder uses one of the holes to anchor the left brake shaft. I have also seen a front mount grader blade that one of the arms was bolted there, but I do not know if that was factory or shop made.

There was an auxiliary left side fertilizer hopper available. I'm not sure if it used that pad or the rear one.

I think Henderson (and probably other) loaders used it.

I have saw some pictures with the second fertilizer hopper mounted on the left, but never saw a model number or any literature for it!

I been thinking of using that set of implement mounting holes for a secondary tool box!

I like the cub tool box under the seat, but I think most would agree it is kinda on the small side!

Thanks you!

The left hopper doesn't have a separate model number. If is an attachment for the main fertilizer applicator.

Thanks for the tip. Looking in the pdf manuals section, looks like there was 2 different dual hopper setups.

One that went with the A-cub 201 drill planter.

And a optional hopper set-up for the 101a

My Henderson loader uses that pad for part of the left side frame bracket.

I do not remember ever seeing one, but I think the Wagner 45 may also use it.
