Serial numbers

I gave my nephew a farmall cub years ago. He was killed in car wreck last fall and his widow gave it back to me.The serial number is 104537-1800.Refresh my old memory. What year is this tractor. I want to get it back up and running again. Thanks for any assistance.

Sorry about the loss of your son. The Cub is a 1950. The 1800 indicates the engine rpm and is not part of the serial number.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

He was my nephew. 36 years old. Way to young. Thanks for the information. I'm going to fix it back up again. It has the belly mower .

That seirl number falls in the Demonstrator range, is there any evidence of white paint anywhere?
