Loboy woods belt
Broke my mower belt on 59 loboy with woods 42 deck. I thought it had a 136x5/8 belt. I measured broken belt and it was 138”. Anyone know correct length?

Manual doesn’t give size only part number. New woods belts are over 50 bucks. Saw belts on eBay for 20 with shipping. That’s why I wanted size. I know you get what you pay for but for one third the price will try my luck

That's exactly what I did a few years back, I'm all for saving a few dollars. I discovered the cheaper belts always needed tightening and usually before the end of the second mowing season would either dry rot and break or start jumping off. So I paid the high price for the last belt. That was about 5 years ago and other than the adjustment after the break-in period it's going strong. When I was younger I used to look for a reason to tinker on equipment, but, at 69 years of age I feel I'm ahead of the game not to have to worry the quality of aftermarket replacement parts. Just my two cents worth, Tom.
