Hi all , anyone know how much a bolster weighs?
Any guesses on how much to ship a bolster from JP in MO to Indiana?
I've met a guy who ships out of Indiana every once in a while

Re: weights
jp should be able to give u a shipping estimate.. what ever it costs the jp one will be sandblasted and penetret inspected which will more and off set any shipping differences. if I had to do mine again I would purchase from jp to get a clean part to start with. .
When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!

Re: weights
I purchased one from JP Salvage and must say they are a great company to work with! The bolster weights close to 35-40 lbs so it is quite heavy. I believe I received mine from JP via UPS but it has been a few years. Price was very reasonable.

Re: weights
Ok , I'm talking to JP now for some prices.
I remember he posted some pics on Facebook a while back of some bolsters he had cleaned up ready for sale.
They looked good
You had me scared there for a second. 40lbs....I had to convert that to kg. 18kg is ok I guess.

Cripes - I thought I'd never get one.
