Well, nobody had the right shade of orange so as a last resort I had to settle for Allis-Chalmers orange. I had to get it done before leaving for the Portland show. It turned out okay for me. The fast hitch I got from Don McCombs turned out better than I thought.

Looks better to me than Ricky's green and yellow. In fact I still remember Ken Updike telling me a metalurgical engineer had determined something in that paint destroyed or upset the moleculer structure of anything it was put on, rendering the item worthless!

Just a heads up...I called York Modern and their paint is available and for sale.

Got me some official York Orange rattle cans on the way. Was going to pick it up but they ship. Opted for that.

A company called Colours still makes it. They have something to do with PPG...not completely sure.

I also might add that searching for the Colours Company might be a wise idea. The woman at York told me that they buy their paint from them, kind of hinting that I do. I paid $31 per can of enamel plus shipping. Something to factor in

On a side note
The York Rake Model for the Cub with a fast hitch is RFC and without the fast hitch is RFA

I would of bought an off the shelf orange for like $5 for my base coats and got as few cans of it at that price as I could to make one heavy wet final coat.
