Fast Hitch Flail Mower ???

Postby yellercub » Sat Sep 25, 2021 1:58 pm

Just got home with a Mott, I think fast hitch flail mower. (Did anyone other than Mott make a fast hitch flail mower?) I am sifting through some threads here and am coming up with more questions than answers, First, is there a standard and Low Boy model, and if so what is the differences? Second, seeing references to sway chains and removing the fast hitch sway bar, doesn't seem to many do this in videos and pictures. Third is there a manual on line?
Thanks

There is a manual that includes both models in the PDF Manuals section.

If I remember correctly, you don’t have to completely remove the diagonal link, but it does need to get reversed. Otherwise, will interfere with drive shaft. Can’t speak to not using the sway chains as I’ve always used them.
