Road Trip

Postby Barnyard » Sat Sep 25, 2021 8:43 pm

Took a little road trip to south central Illinois to pick up a Cub that Harlan Piece had graciously Cub expressed for me. Its a 48 that smoked. The PO removed the piston with out doing any checks first so I now have to reassemble it regardless. As you see, it has a trimmed dash, one of my favorites.

A big thanks to Harlan for picking it up and storing it for me until I could get there to pick it up. Another big thanks to Terri Pierce! She remembered that I like brownies covered with ice cream. It was a nice treat to get me ready for the drive home.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

I've owned it for a while, just getting around to introducing it to the rest of the herd. :)

You know you have a problem when you start hiding Cubs at other people’s places.

A few more Cubs and you'll need a shoehorn to fit em in the yard!

...and you won't even have a reason to have them...all the garden & grass areas will be covered with tractors! No mowing or plowing possible! Of course, a heck of a lot of weed whacking around them!!

My 48 trimmed dash is 38849. How close is yours to that number. They could be cousins. :)

Just saying if I had lots of tractors or stuff sitting around I personally would not be weedeating it all! No time for all that mess.
