I dont know what you guys are talking about, we do not get snow here like we should!

So far we have had 1 good snow!

http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=112317&p=893729&sid=28a416b8bd023c5cb2c22c5bfbe3a44c&sid=28a416b8bd023c5cb2c22c5bfbe3a44c#p893729

We are more of in the "RAIN BELT" than anything!

A proper winter here should stay below 30° from December till March! But I would be happy if we do not get into the teens or below!

Highest high of 30 and lowest low or 25° all winter, thats the SamsFarm Goldielocks zone! Lol

Frozen ground + snow + temps staying below 30° all winter = NO MUD!

I would love to donate my excess rain to Oklahoma! :)

That's incredible! Did you pay for expedited shipping?
Good price also. Steiners is $175.80 Hamiltonbobs is $81.00 for the same components.
Do you think the quality is better than most? I would tend to trust a company like Fort Wayne Clutch or Heartland Clutch for the best available.

Do you think the quality is better than most? Time will tell. I was turned on to them by my local parts man that has had real good luck with their parts and service.I would tend to trust a company like Fort Wayne Clutch or Heartland Clutch for the best available.

The Cub is up and running fine. Plowed some snow this afternoon with no issues. Weather forecast is for 3 to 5 inches by tomorrow morning. Quality seat time, but at almost an octogenarian, plowing snow is not as much fun as it used to be.

I didn't look for the origin. I had a problem to solve and the products filled the bill. Timeliness was more important than who made it where. If it is critical for you to know, call their toll free number and I'm sure someone can answer your question.

Bill
Glad you got the Cub clutch on the first try. I split mine this past summer for complete clutch, rear main seal assembly from Tim (tst), TC control valve O-ring and swapped in all new rods and mains. Was that clutch in the Low-Boy with the weak springs a new clutch pressure plate or did this failure occur over time ? I'm thinking we may have 2 things to be concerned with these days, wrong graphite in the imported TOB's and bad springs in the imported clutch pressure plates.

It was a pressure plate that was an old one, no telling how old.

OK thanks for answering Bill. Has me thinking though on a way to check the throughout bearing operation other than just getting the finger heights equalized.
