Cub Decals

Has anyone been successful in creating their own replacement decals? I know that there are many sites out there that provide quality decals but the prices just get me. If my wife has a vinyl cutter and willing to do this, I don't see why not give it a shot. The hardest part is getting the right font, I know on TM tractor they give font samples but in today's technological world we should be able to match those up to something without too much work. I know they didn't have this tech back when they were produced originally and really was up to the printer at the time time match them up.
I m wondering if anyone out there is willing to share their files for making them? Put it in the How To forum or something. I am sure that they are trademarked but if you are not selling them, and only using for personal use, then there is not an issue.
