Magneto Question
Hi all, I'm seeing if theres anyway for me to hook up a tachometer. Aftermarket or original. With my new magneto for my 48 cub? I really don't want to change over to a distributor for the cost.

Re: Magneto Question
The gear drive for the tach inserts into the distributor. There may be aftermarket tachs that will work on a Cub, but not using the magneto.

Re: Magneto Question
I use something like this to adjust the idle and max RPM
https://smile.amazon.com/Maintenance-Ta ... 07PMJH7QV/ They make nicer ones you could mount permanently.
The mounting housing that the distributor uses is built into the mag so the OEM style tach will not work on the mag.

When you only have 9 horsepower you need to know the names of all of the ponies!
