Holy hood

Postby smokinmad » Tue Apr 19, 2022 12:16 am

Got a 65 Int. Cub Lo-Boy. On the hood I found 2 holes on the right side of the hood. They are about a foot from the front, in the curve of the hood.
Have noticed every tractor this age has the same 2 holes, but non have anything bolted to them. Any ideas what they are for?
Thanks
Smokinmad

Generator lubrication holes!

You can find more info in the operators manual!

If you do not have a owners manual, look in the pdf manual section here at farmallcub.com

Nothing bolts to them!

Weight reduction, of course. Those cubs are awful heavy...need to reduce weight somehow

I could not say tractor when I was 2 years old so I called it Err Err.

I loved this tractor then and I still love it now.

I will do stuff like this from time to time, prying or beating on something trying to get it to come apart. Then to see you forgot one bolt, or would help if you took the snap rig off, etc.
